About Tricia Wellington
Meet the photographer & Designer
I’m a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, and designer passionate about storytelling through every medium I touch. From capturing intimate moments behind the camera to crafting intricate laser-cut creations, my work blends creativity with craftsmanship. As the owner of Hob Goblin Designs and Magic Vagabonds Designs, I create one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect a love of folklore, nature, and the beautifully strange.
With over a decade of experience as a freelance photographer, I specialize in weddings, portraits, street photography, and product photography—always chasing genuine emotion and fleeting moments of magic. My background as a street artist in the heart of New Orleans’ Pirate’s Alley shaped my approach to art: raw, honest, and deeply connected to the people and places around me.
I’m also a published author and maker, known for works like Mean Eugene: Standing Up to Your Bully and The Practical Poppet Guide: A How-To Guide for Making and Using Poppets in Witchcraft. Every project I take on—whether it’s a custom laser-engraved piece, a photo session, or a written guide—is infused with intention, meaning, and a little bit of mischief.
When I’m not creating, you’ll find me wandering with a camera, dreaming up new designs, or crafting art that brings a little magic into the everyday.
